• Sign in with your Username and Password.


• Create your own team.


• You have to select a team of 11 players which includes 5 batsmen, 5 bowlers and 1 wicketkeeper. All the players are classified as batsmen, bowlers or wicketkeepers according to their abilities.


• There are 8 teams in all which are divided into two groups.

• There are two real matches to choose from too namely Australia vs India , 4th Test and also Pakistan vs England , 2nd Test. Please note that as these are test matches, performance for ONLY THAT DAY will be counted


• All the matches which takes place are simulated with the help of a software.


• On the first day each team will have a base money of 1000 to select the team.


• You get points according to your players' performance in the simulated matches.


• Players will score points depending on the following criteria
  
  
  • Batting: Number of runs scored * Strike Rate / 100
    
    10 bonus points for a 50+ score; 25 bonus points for a 100+ score
  
  
  • Bowling: Number of wickets taken * 20 * 5 / Economy Rate
    (Economy Rate less than one are considered to be exactly one.)
    
    10 bonus points for 3+ wickets; 25 bonus points for 5+ wickets
  
  

  • • FOR THE TEST MATCHES ONLY

    • Batting: Number of runs scored * Strike Rate / 50
      
      10 bonus points for a 50+ score; 25 bonus points for a 100+ score
    
    
    • Bowling: Number of wickets taken * 10 * 5 / Economy Rate
      (Economy Rate less than one are considered to be exactly one.)
      
      10 bonus points for 3+ wickets; 25 bonus points for 5+ wickets
    
    
  • Fielding: 5 points for a catch, a run out or a stumping.
    
    10 bonus points for 3+ dismissals; 25 bonus points for 5+ dismissals
  
  
  • Man of the Match: 50 points bonus
  
  
  • You have to choose a captain of your team who gets a bonus of 15 points on a 50+ score and of 25 points on a 100+ score. It is compulsory to choose a captain
  
  
  • In addition , you can optionally choose a 'Performer' in your team i.e. a player who will score the highest points on a particular day. If you get it right you get a 75 point bonus else you are penalized by a 25 point deduction
  
  


• After each day's play the cost of every player will change according to their performance on that particular day.


• The next day you can substitute your team within the total cost of the previous day's team plus the extra money if you had left with.


• There are unlimited subtitutions.


• You can substitute till 11pm everyday. Matches take place at midnight.


• You will get the updates the next day.


• Organizers' decisions regarding any matter of FreePL are final and binding. No requests for changes will be entertained.

The players are fictional and any resemblance to any cricketer is purely incidental. The generation of the matches is the complete discretion of the organizers (which will be dependent on predefined conditions) and hence no queries to this purpose will be entertained.
